Xingan Lin has spent more than twelve years at sea from 1994 to 2007, sailed in all ranks up to and including Chief Engineer on a variety of vessel types including general cargo, container ship, chemical tanker and bulk carriers. During at sea, he has gained considerable experience of the management, operation and maintenance of various marine power plants. He has worked as class surveyor, new building project manager and docking superintendent for more than eight years from 2007 to 2015, obtained extensive experience of the ship repairs, ship new buildings and conversions. Lin has been a Marine Engineer/Engineer Consultant since 2016 and provided competitive marine consultancy and expert witness services to a range of clients, including P&I Clubs, H&M Insurers, Solicitors, Shipyards, Manufacturers, Vessel Owners/Managements, Charterers and Bunker Suppliers etc.
